To the possible buyer of Chihuahuas,
My wife and I found out the hard way of purchasing a Chihuahua through a non-reputable breeder and had to put our first Chihuahua down due to genetic defects with his spine after six years of love and enjoyment. After doing some research and talking too Chihuahua breeders at local shows, we came in contact with Chelle. Chelle was very knowledgeable about the breed and was obviously aware of the non-reputable breeders out there in the world. An interesting change we encountered with Chelle, is after we finished asking questions, she started to interview us on our home environment and the possible well being of a Chihuahua in our home. We knew Chelle was committed to exceptional quality when we finally got to see her dogs. We were looking for A smooth coat Chihuahua (for me) and unfortunately, I had picked out a white female and my wife had picked out a blue female. Since Chelle knew our history and how my wife had bought our first Chihuahua home in a shoe box unexpectedly, Chelle and I had told my wife that we were purchasing the white female but had made plans where I would be unavailable and my wife would go and pick up the white female. After being handed the white female "Marribel", Chelle brought in the blue female in a shoe box with the blue female "Kiwi" inside. Yes, there were tears involved...
This was the beginning of our relationship with Chelle, she has always been available for questions, comments and the occasional dog sitting (we lived in the same city) showing my wife and I the commitment she has with breeding and well being of her dogs. Now that she has moved to another state, we too will be in your shoes having to purchase our future Chihuahua's from long distance. I have no doubt our next Chihuahua will be from Chelle. She is the best!
